1. Selection and installation of tires
The correct installation of tires is directly related to the service life of tires, especially when replacing new tires. Tires of different types and patterns must not be mixed arbitrarily due to the actual size and load capacity of each tire. In addition, if you cannot fully master the skills of replacing tires, we recommend that you go to a professional tire shop or a special vehicle repairer for replacement.
2. Working air pressure
Tire pressure that is too low or too high will affect the service life of the tire. If the tire pressure is too low, its radial deformation will increase, and the two sides of the tire wall will be deformed excessively, resulting in wear on both shoulders of the tire crown, which will increase the temperature of the tire and seriously reduce the service life of the tire.
If the tire pressure is too high, the rigidity of the tire will increase, the deformation and contact area will decrease, so that the unit pressure in the middle of the tread will increase, and the wear will increase. Produces crown center wear, which affects comfort and reduces tire life. Tests have shown that if the air pressure is increased by 25%, the tire life will be shortened by about 30%.
3. Tire load
The greater the load on the vehicle, the shorter the life of the tire, which is beyond doubt. Especially in the case of overload, it is more prominent. The tires produced by regular tire manufacturers are marked with a load index. Tires should be used within the maximum load capacity corresponding to the specified load index.
4. Driving speed
Tires produced by regular tire manufacturers are marked with a speed rating index. Tires should be used within the maximum driving speed corresponding to the specified speed class index.
