Hard to start a cold car? Mostly because of the internal carbon deposition at play!

As the weather gets colder, many vehicles have problems such as difficulty in cold start, idling jitter after cold start, and poor acceleration after cold start. After the water temperature of the vehicle rises, the above faults disappear again. What is the reason for this? The answer is that there is too much carbon deposits inside the engine. Uneven fuel quality and congested urban road conditions are the reasons for the easy formation of carbon deposits.

Excessive carbon deposits lead to frequent failures

When there is too much carbon deposits inside the engine, the gasoline sprayed from the cold-start fuel injection head will be covered with a large amount of carbon deposits It is easy to start the car until the gasoline absorbed by the carbon deposits is saturated, and the gasoline adsorbed on the carbon deposits will be sucked into the cylinder by the vacuum suction of the engine for combustion. It also makes the mixture rich, and the combustible mixture of the engine is lean and rich, causing idle jitter after cold start.

The lower the temperature, the greater the amount of oil required for cold start, and the more carbon deposits will affect the smoothness of cold start. Everywhere inside the engine, carbon deposits will have a bad impact on the normal operation of the engine. For example, when there is too much coke in the combustion chamber, the compression ratio of the engine will increase to form many hot surfaces, causing premature combustion and detonation, and shortening the service life of the engine; coke deposits on the working surface of the valve and its seat ring will cause the valve to close. If it is not strict and leaks, the engine is difficult to start, the work is weak, and the valve is easy to ablate.

The carbon deposits and glue on the valve guide and the valve stem will accelerate the wear of the valve stem and the valve guide, and even cause the valve stem to move in the valve guide and become stuck, resulting in the failure of sticky valve; Coking in the piston ring groove will make the edge clearance and back clearance of the piston ring smaller, or even have no clearance, which will cause the piston ring to lose elasticity and pull the cylinder; If there is too much carbon on the spark plug, it will cause the spark plug to leak and fail to work, and the engine will shake; if there is too much carbon on the throttle valve, it will also cause difficulty in starting and idling jitter.

In order to make the engine work better, you should pay more attention to maintaining the vehicle and regularly clean the carbon deposits everywhere. Only in this way, when the weather becomes cold, the vehicle can start smoothly, eliminating the troubles of car owners and friends.
